Hastings Youth Sports
Hastings 9AA took their second tournament of the season. They kicked off the weekend beating Eagan 14-5 followed by a 12-0 trouncing over Lake Elmo. They completed pool play by dismantling Lakeville South 24-8. In the championship bracket, they met Lakeville South again and squeaked out a 9-8 victory. The Raiders 14AAA won their own tournament held at Veterans Park over the Father’s Day weekend. Hastings first took down Hopkins on Friday night. Saturday, due to the forecast of rain, the tournament moved their game versus Edina to Saturday morning where the Raiders received their first loss of the season. Sunday the boys had a rematch with Edina and won handily to advance to the Championship against East Ridge, winning 9-2. Front row (L to R): Adam Staves, Joey Horton, Luke Hargis, Cooper Pagel.
