To the editor:
It was encouraging to see the In Brief article on election security in the Dakota County Newsletter Fall/Winter 2024. It acknowledges the public concerns over current election processes. I encourage citizens to ask questions about election processes and election data integrity at the Municipal, County and State levels. Report suspicious activity during early voting and on election day. Become an election judge, a poll challenger, attend Public Accuracy Tests, attend Post Election Reviews. Admittedly, up until a few years ago I didn't know some of these activities even existed. Educate yourself and get involved.
