Local Mortgage Lender Craig Beissel has moved to Merchants Bank. Craig has been in the mortgage industry for 25 years. He was most recently a Branch Sales Manager for Axia Home Loans and previously worked for Stearns Lending and Wells Fargo.
We’re proud to announce that Craig Beissel, Mortgage Lender, has moved to Merchants Bank and will serve mortgage customers in the Hastings area.
“It’s nice to join a company that is so involved in the community,” shared Beissel. “Merchants Bank has such a strong presence in Hastings and surrounding communities and I’m excited to join the team.”

Has over 25 years of mortgage banking experience
Was previously a Branch Sales Manager for Axia Home Loans
Will continue serving customers in Hastings, MN and the surrounding area
He is the current President of the Hastings Area Rotary Club and MN Sno Tigers Snowmobile Club and an active member of the Hastings Area Chamber of Commerce. He sits on the council board for his church and enjoys being a wrestling referee in the winter.
Craig and his wife, Michelle, live in Farmington, MN and have two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys snowmobiling, volunteering, camping and traveling with his family.
