The Vermillion River Watershed Joint Powers Organization (VRWJPO), (Owner) will be accepting online electronic bids only for conducting in-lake chemical treatments to Alimagnet Lake in Apple Valley and Burnsville, Minnesota. Bids will be received by the Owner via QuestCDN VirtuBid (vBid) until 10:00 a.m. CDT, Thursday, August 1, 2024, then publicly opened and read aloud via Microsoft Teams. The Work includes purchasing, delivering, storing, and applying liquid aluminum sulfate and liquid sodium aluminate (together referred to in the Contract Documents as aluminum) to the lake to mitigate the internal release of phosphorus from lake sediment. There are two applications of aluminum proposed for Alimagnet Lake. The Work is to be completed by October 31, 2024 for the 1 st application and by May 29, 2026 for the 2 nd application. The 2 nd application must not commence until favorable conditions in the spring of 2026 as authorized by the Owner or their appointed representative.
