Posted

United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus has a new resident chaplain. As
part of this unique role, Father (Fr.) Michael Anderson will support the hospital and the Benedictine Living
Community – Regina, while also living on site. His first mass with the community will be Sunday, July 21.
“We are pleased to welcome Fr. Michael to our community,” said Jill Ostrem, United Hospital – Hastings Regina
Campus president. “This is an incredibly unique position for our community. Fr. Michael will serve in our hospital
chapel, provide spiritual support for residents in the senior living community and live on campus. His presence
helps in our mission to provide exceptional care to the communities we serve.”
Fr. Michael has been an ordained Roman Catholic priest since 1983. He recently retired from St. Joseph of the
Lakes Catholic Church in Lino Lakes.
“I am pleased to have this opportunity to continue walking alongside people as they follow the life and teachings of
Christ,” said Fr. Michael. As the resident chaplain, I look forward to meeting new people and helping them on their
spiritual journey.”
United Hospital – Hastings Regina Campus and Benedictine Living Community – Regina are both housed on the
Regina campus, of which Regina HealthCare is the Catholic Sponsor. United Hospital – Hastings Regina is part of
Allina Health.
