Thank you for all your efforts in helping us launch the 2024-2025 school year smoothly. Despite all the planning and preparation, we know that the start of school always brings a few last-minute adjustments—both at the district level and likely in your own homes. Your patience and unwavering support as we all settle back into our school routines are greatly appreciated.
In today’s Raider Update, we are excited to share our new district video, provide information on our upcoming annual survey, introduce our new emergency response protocols, and remind you of the many Raider events you won't want to miss.
2024-2025 District Video
We partnered with HCTV to create new video footage for our updated website and a district video. The final result has exceeded my expectations, and I want to extend a special thanks to Mike Bremer and Kurt Radtke for their outstanding work. I’d also like to recognize Kari Gorr for her tireless efforts behind the scenes. We’re proud to share the new video with you, which you can view below. Our goal is to continue updating these videos annually to accurately reflect our schools. If a specific building or event wasn’t included this time, rest assured it will be featured in future releases.
Upcoming Annual Satisfaction Surveys
Once the school year is in full swing, we will be launching our annual satisfaction survey. This survey will be distributed to all families, students in grades 4-12, and staff. You’ll also have the chance to preview the student survey before it’s officially released. Last year’s feedback played a critical role in shaping the direction of the district, and this year we are eager to hear from as many voices as possible.
Emergency Response Protocol
The safety of our students and staff remains our highest priority. We have recently adopted the “I Love U Guys” program for our crisis response plan, a protocol that has been implemented by over 50,000 schools, districts, and agencies.
The “I Love U Guys” Standard Response Protocol (SRP) uses an all-hazards approach, focusing on actions such as Hold, Secure, Lockdown, Evacuate, and Shelter, rather than on specific scenarios. Throughout the school year, students and staff will receive age-appropriate training, practice, and drills to ensure preparedness.

Our fields, courts, and auditoriums are once again bursting with energy as our students proudly compete, perform, and represent Raider Nation. Please don’t miss an opportunity to support our Raider events.
