Barbara Miller, lovingly known as Barb or Barbie, passed away on June 15, 2024, at the age of 72. She was born to Rudolph “Rutz” and Marie (Hoffman) Turek on May 27, 1952, in Farmington, MN, and most recently resided in Hastings, MN.

Barb was married to Randy Miller. Together they built a life filled with love and laughter. Before retiring Barb worked as a CNA at the Cannon Falls Nursing Home.

Barb had a deep passion for gardening and canning. She loved to do cross stitching and latch hooks. She also enjoyed watching her favorite TV show, “Wheel of Fortune,” and passionately rooted for her beloved Minnesota Vikings during football season. Her greatest joy however was when surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, cherishing the time spent together and creating countless memories.

Barbara’s legacy lives on through her children, Tina (Sean) Meyers, Tammy (Joe) Vandenheuvel, and Tom Meyers, step-children Brian (Kristi) Miller, and Lora Jackson, as well as her ten grandchildren and six great-grandchildren, who will forever carry her spirit in their hearts.

She is also survived by her sisters, Mary Jo O’Halloran, Linda (Todd) Erickson, and Carrie Kingery, and her brothers, Jim (Sue) Turek, and Dan (Linda) Turek, and sisters-in-law, Rose Turek, and Linda Turek, who will fondly remember the special bond they shared.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Tommy, David, Boots, and Bob Turek, and her brothers-in-law, Ted O’Halloran, and Steven Kingery.

Barb will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her kind heart, warm smile, and unwavering love and support will never be forgotten. May she rest in peace.

We invite all of you to join us in celebrating Barb’s life at her sister-in-law, Linda’s house at 25262 Donnelly Ave, Hampton, MN on July 13, 2024 from 2-5 p.m.
