Marilyn Esther Reinardy (Paulson), age 87, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

She was born on December 15th, 1936 to Caroline and Fredrick Paulson in Hastings, MN. She went to Hastings High School and was an avid member of SEAS church. She married Alois “Ollie” William Reinardy in June of 1955 and had five children: Belinda, Kimberly, Timothy, Daniel, and Laurel.

Marilyn will be remembered by many of her accomplishments. She was a CMA at Regina nursing home/assisted living for 33 years. She did volunteer work for Sharing and Caring Hands. Her love for volunteering continued with decorating Regina Hospital during the holidays and helping with their yearly bazaar. She had a passion for gardening and floral design for special occasions.

She had so much love for her family and friends, and it showed in everything she did. Easter brunch and Christmas were her favorite things to celebrate with the ones she loved. Ollie was the one true love of her life, and she would tell anyone who was willing to listen. She would tell you, “Oh, he is just so handsome”.

Those left to cherish her memory: her husband of 69 years and life companion, Ollie; five children, Belinda (Mark Gelhar) Tuckner, Kimberly (Jeff) Chandler, Timothy (Tammy) Reinardy, Daniel (Pam) Reinardy, Laurie (Paul) Jenson; grandchildren, Nicholas (Erica) Tuckner, Matthew (Rebecca Hoeft) Tuckner, Andrew (Bethany) Tuckner, Benjamin (Jade Gertzen) Tuckner, Aaron (Katie) Tuckner, Sarah Tuckner, Megan Chandler, Rachel (Nick) Bentley, Alicia (Tom) Fischer, Jared (Cassie) Reinardy, Leah Reinardy, Jimmy (Paige) Blount, David (Heidi) Blount; 14 great-grandchildren; sister, Marcia (Poncho) Rosas; sisters-in-law, Rosella Huberty, Lorraine Kimmes, Joanne Reinardy; and by many nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
