Therese A. Siebenaler, age 85 of Hastings, passed away peacefully at Regina Senior Living of Hastings on Thursday morning, August 1, 2024.

Therese Ann, the daughter of Mathias and Christine (Gores) Siebenaler, was born on April 4, 1939, in Hastings. Following her graduation from Good Counsel in 1957, Therese professed her vows in 1959 and began her longtime career of teaching in several Catholic and public schools. During that time, she taught as far away as Chewelah, Washington. In 1972, Therese later began working for Minnesota Department of Revenue until her retirement. Throughout her life, her kind heart and caring personality continually dedicated her life to volunteering with many different organizations.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Mathias and Christine; sister, Mary Kay Hoffman; brothers, Rev. Father Leonard F. Siebenaler and Rev. Father John M. Siebenaler; and by her brothers-in-law, Jim Neisen and Norbert Hoffman.

Therese is survived by her siblings, Rev. Father Martin Siebenaler, Donna Neisen, Edward (Theresa) Siebenaler, Raymond (Karen) Siebenaler, and Bernard M. (Joanie) Siebenaler; and by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial was held at 11 a.m. Saturday, August 10, 2024, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Hastings, with Father David Hennen officiating. Interment was held at the parish cemetery

Family and friends were cordially invited to a visitation from 9:30-11 a.m., and to a reception immediately following Mass, all were at church on Saturday.

In lieu of flowers, Therese’s family kindly requests memorials be made to School Sisters of Notre Dame in her memory.

Arrangements are being completed by Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel of Hastings.
