Michael C. Beauvais, 69, of Hastings, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving daughters on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, at Regina Senior Living - Care Center and Transitional Care in Hastings, MN. Born on January 1, 1955, in St. Clair, MI, to John and Ann (Bukowski) Beauvais, Mike was proud to attend St. Mary’s Catholic School and graduated from St. Clair High School.

Mike met Lori Knudsen at the Dairy Isle in St. Clair. Their cherished memories began there, culminating in marriage on August 5, 1978. Together, they were blessed with three daughters, Trisha, Emily, and Andrea. The family later moved to Hastings, MN, where Mike dedicated many years as an instrument and controls technician.

Known for his generosity, Mike was always ready to lend a hand to a neighbor in need and could fix just about anything. He was an avid Trekkie and loved all things Star Trek. He also had a passion for music, with a fondness for classic rock and jazz, and an impressive collection of vinyl played on his Polk speakers. Mike enjoyed camping trips with his family, biking on trails across the state, and occasional casino visits. Neighbors and friends were often drawn to his backyard fires or front yard gatherings, where Mike’s company and a good cigar, beer, and brandy were enjoyed by many.

Above all, Mike adored his family. His unwavering support for his children and grandchildren was evident through his attendance at music and sports events and pride in their marching band performances.

Mike is survived by his daughters, Trisha (Andy) Abel, Emily (Dan) Hellerich, and Andrea (Iustin Cornea) Beauvais; grandchildren, Brayden, Ryan, and Camdyn Abel; siblings, Dianne (Jerry) Justa, John (Dot) Beauvais, Debbie Beauvais; mother-in-law, Betty Knudsen; brother-in-law, Jeff Knudsen; sister-in-law, Ann Myhre; along with many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Lori; his parents; and father-in-law, Don Knudsen.
