Robert Jancoski, age 91, passed away surrounded by his loving wife and six children at his bedside on June 19, 2024.

Robert was a proud veteran of the Korean War, having served honorably on the USS Soley DD707 where he did two tours around the world. After his service, he went into business school and later dedicated over 30 years of his career to HD Hudson as an accountant and industrial engineer, retiring at the age of 62. Robert was passionate about playing cards, golfing, camping, fishing and spending his summers up at his cabin home, all activities he cherished with his family.

He was married to the love of his life for 67 wonderful years, a testament to their enduring love and commitment. Robert is survived by his wife, Connie; six children, Robert (Cathy), Michael (Kathleen), Lisa Peterson, Nancy (Raymond) Tromberg, Thomas (Marti) and Ann (Chris) Hill; 14 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Lucille Jancoski; granddaughter, Michelle Jancoski; and by his son-in-law, Rolf Peterson.

Robert’s legacy of love, dedication and service will be fondly remembered by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:30 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 at Starkson Family Life Celebration Chapel, 3075 Vermillion Street, Hastings with a visitation from 3-6 p.m. Interment will take place at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis with full military honors on September 17, 2024 at 11 a.m., assembly area #3.
